On April 2-3, the annual conference "Sergeyev Readings" was held at the Vernadsky Geological Museum in Moscow, organized by the E.M. Sergeev Institute of Geoecology of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

A total of 266 participants took part in the conference, 144 of them attended in person. Geography of participants: 33 cities of Russia and representatives of neighboring countries (Turkmenistan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan).

138 organizations: 33 universities (MSU, MGRI, Mining University, PSNIU, KFU, etc.), 30 academic institutes (IGE RAS, IVP RAS, IGD UrO RAS, etc.), 75 companies and government agencies.

In just two days, 34 reports were presented at the plenary session and 5 sections.:

Dangerous natural processes

Surveys in urbanized and mining areas

Waste and resource management

Geoecology and climate change

Research methods and modeling

This year, Tamara Tarasovna Abramova, a recognized expert in the field of technical soil reclamation, was awarded the 45th Anniversary Medal named after E.M. Sergeev.
